Researchers looked at historical information from the Strainprint app, which enables patients to monitor their symptoms before and after consuming medicinal marijuana from Canadian growers and wholesalers. More than 1,300 individuals used the app over 12,200 times to document changes in headaches before & after cannabis usage, and another 653 individuals used it over 7,400 times to track changes in migraine symptoms. Both groups of patients provided adequate information.
The study discovered a slight gender gap, with males reporting much more sessions, including headache relief 90%, than women 89.1%. The researchers also discovered that compared to cannabis flowers, cannabis concentrates, such as cannabis oil, significantly reduced headache severity ratings.
